Aloha. It was truly a privilege and a blessing to experience Bhutan with Bhutan Tours and Travels. I admit it was a big change to join a group tour, as I was accustomed to traveling independently. Yet, for some reason I didn’t hesitate in signing up for BTT’s October 2018 Yoga Retreat! I was recently retired and widowed. I had no clue that Bhutan would lead me to happiness and self discovery. Thinley and Pasa answered my countless questions.
Finally I was flying there. The synergy of our wonderful yoga group, along with the giving nature and kind guidance of Pasa and his team, resulted in a magical journey, day after day. After morning yoga and breakfast, we’d hike to mythical places, through ripe fields of rice and blue pine forests. These days fed my senses and soul, filling me with gratitude for Bhutan, its’ people and Buddhist way of life. I found a common language based on kindness. Thank you Bhutan and BTT for treating me like family. It seems natural to have opened my heart chakra there. Now, 7,000 miles away in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this inner love for life remains undiminished.
