Day 1: Paro
Arrive Paro International Airport. Sights in Paro: Paro Dzong, Ta Museum, Kyichu Lhakgang. Halt in Paro.

Day 2: Paro
Hike to Taktsang, “the Tiger’s Lair”. Walk around Paro town. Halt in Paro

Day 3: Paro to Punakha
Morning drive to Punakha (2.5 hours). Stop at Dochula Pass at the 108 stupas. En route visit Chimi Lhakgang (temple of the divine mad man) by walking through paddy fields. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong. Halt in Punakha.

Day 4: Punakha
Hike to Khamsum Yualay Monastery. Visit the Wolakha Nunnery and Talo Dzong. Halt in Punakha

Day 5: Punakha to Trongsa
Morning drive to Trongsa (5 hours). Visit the Trongsa Dzong and Ta Museum. Halt in Trongsa.

Day 6: Trongsa to Bumthang
Morning drive to Bumthang (4 hours). En route stop at Chume Valley to visit a yathra weaving center.  Yathra is the name of the locally-produced woolen cloth. Halt in Bumthang.

Days 7: Bumthang
Explore Bumthang. Visit the Jakar Dzong, Jambay and Kurje Lhakgang, Bumthang town. Halt in Bumthang.

Day 8: Bumthang
Drive to Tang valley. Visit the Membartsho “the burning lake” on the way. Visit Ogyencholing Palace and Museum in Tang. Halt in Bumthang.

Day 9: Bumthang to Lhuntse
Drive to Lhuentse the eastern district (9 hours drive). On the way brief stop in Ura village. Halt in Lhuentse

Day 10: Lhuntse to Khoma Village
After breakfast hike to Khoma village, which is very famous for textiles in Bhutan. Then hike to Ngangladhung village to see the textiles and here also you will see the women weaving a tapestry of textiles with their nimble hands. Halt in Lhuentse

Day 11: Lhuntse to Rangjung
After breakfast drive to Rangjung. Visit Radhi village. Radhi is famous for raw silk, which is known as “bura”. You can also witness women weaving raw silk. Halt in Rangjung.

Day 12: Rangjung to Khaling
Drive to Khaling.  Visit National Institute for the Disabled (NID).

Visit the Weaving Center. Continue to Trashigang town visiting Sherubtse College (Kingdom’s only college) and Zangdo Pelri Lhakhang.

Halt in Tashigang

Day 13: Trashigang to Trashi Yangtse
Visit Tashiyangtse, which is a small, pretty, quiet town. The people are known for making wooden bowls and containers, which are said to be the best in Bhutan. Visit the abandoned iron chain-link bridge behind the village of Duksum. Halt in Tashigang

Day 14:Trashigang to Mongar
Visit Trashigang Dzong.Drive to Mongar (4 hours drive). Halt in Mongar.

Day 15: Mongar to Bumthang
Drive back to Bumthang (8 hours) with stops for lunch and tea in nearby villages. Halt in Bumthang.

Day 16: Bumthang to Wangdiphodrang
Morning sight in Bumthang. Drive to Wangdiphodrang (6 hours drive). Halt in Wangdi.

Day 17: Wangdiphodrang – Paro
Drive to Paro with a lunch stop in Thimphu. Halt in Paro.

Day 18: Departure
Depart from Paro Airport.
