Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Paro
Overnight at a hotel in Paro

Day 2: Paro Sightseeing
Drukgyel Dzong, and excursion to Taktsang Monastery. Halt in Paro

Day 3: Paro to Thimphu
Visit Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong in Paro, drive to Thimphu. Enroute visit Simtokha Dzong. Halt in Thimphu.

Day 4: Thimphu sightseeing
Tashichhodzong, Memorial Chorten, handicrafts Emporium, National Library, Painting School, Textile Museum. Halt in Thimphu

Day 5: Trek Day 1
Thimphu to Telekha. Distance: 11kms; Time: 6 to 7 hours; Maximum Altitude: 10,000ft. Camp Overnight

Day 6: Trek Day 2
Telekha to Japhuna. Distance: 15kms; Time : 6 to 7 hours; Maximum Altitude: 13,100ft. Camp Overnight

Day 7: Trek Day 3
Japhuna to Jaduna. Distance: 12kms; Time: 6 to 7 hours; Maximum Altitude: 13,150ft. Camp Overnight

Day 8: Trek Day 4
Jaduna to Saytsho. Distance: 13kms; Time: 7 to 8 hours;  Maximum Altitude: 14,900ft. Camp Overnight

Day 9: Trek Day 5
Saytsho to Genekha. Distance: 13kms;  Time: 5 to 6 hours; Maximum Altitude: 12,000ft. Camp Overnight

Day 10: Trek Day 6
Genekha to Paro. After end of trek drive to Paro. Halt in Paro

Day 11: Departure
Fly out from Paro airport
